Terms of Service

The service

TinyTale generates a personalized children's picture book from details you provide, and — if you order one — prints and ships a physical copy. You must be at least 18 and a parent or guardian of the child the book is about (or have their parent's permission).

Your content and your book

You confirm you have the right to share the details and any photo you provide. Your inputs — names, story choices, personal messages, photos — are used for one purpose: creating, printing, and delivering your book. The finished book is yours to enjoy and share; the underlying TinyTale software, templates, and branding remain ours.

Sample stories

TinyTale retains ownership of the AI-generated story text and artwork it creates. We may reuse that generated content to publish anonymized sample stories on our site, with strict limits: the child's name is replaced, dedications, personal messages, and any other personal details are removed, and a person reviews every sample before it is published. Books made with an uploaded photo are never reused — a character illustrated from your child's photo will never appear anywhere except your own book. If you'd prefer your book's story and artwork never be reused at all, email support@tinytale.ai and we'll exclude it.

AI-generated content

Stories and illustrations are generated by AI and reviewed by automated checks, not by a human editor. You preview the full book before paying. While we work hard to make every book wonderful, generated content can be imperfect — the preview is what will be printed.

Orders, printing, and delivery

Prices are shown at checkout. Printed books are produced on demand by our print partner and typically arrive within 5–8 business days in the US. If we can't print or ship your book, we refund you in full (see the Refund Policy).

Acceptable use

Don't use TinyTale to create content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes someone else's rights, and don't attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service. We may decline or cancel orders that violate this (with a full refund if we cancel).

Liability

TinyTale is provided "as is." To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the order in question. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date. Questions: support@tinytale.ai.
